Ponirin Amin

Ponirin Amin was born in Johor in 1952. In 1977 Ponlrin Amin has studied printmaking at West Surrey College of Art and Design until 1980. Eight years later he went to Manchester Polytechnic, UK to obtain his master's degree in printmaking. He graduated with a Master's Degree in Fine Arts (printmaking) in 1989.

In Malaysian Salon 1978/79, Ponirin Amin's etching entitled 'Di Pentasmu Nan Sepi' won the Frank Sullivan Award.
